I prefer to cooperate with external partners in order to provide a „complete customer engineering service package“ which does not only include the simu~lation but also the **machine diagnosis** and **field testings** or even the installation of a complete **condi~tion moni~toring system**. The model refine~ments or system optimization steps require a more detailed know~ledge of the real system behavior which we get from **field testings **world~wide,** proto~type measure~ments**, or** test rig studies**. This is an important additional service step as part of the complete [VIRTUAL ENGINEERING](/en/engineering/virtual-engineering/) process. Therefore, I cooperate with measure~ment specialists world~wide. I have a special partner~ship with Swiss specialist ***[Alpha Diagnostics](https://alphadiagnostics.ch/)***, which offers high-performance monitoring systems for drive systems in mechanical and plant engineering. I can provide you with further infor~mation (references) on request. ### Structural Analysis, FEM Studies A major subject supported by one of my cooperation partners is the **struc~tural mecha~nical analysis with modern FEM methods** (FEM = „**F**inite **E**lement **M**ethod“) in order to optimize **fatigue strength** and **durability** of mecha~nical compo~nents. This helps to under~stand even complete and complex structures (e.g. the inter~action between drive systems and foun~dation via supports; see the anima~tion on this web site). A system eva~luation will be the result of such an over~all ana~lysis. ### Extended Rotordynamic Analysis, Fluid-Film Bearing Studies Advanced **rotor~dynamic analyses** (optionally in connection with a more detailed **fluid-film bearing analysis**) are carried out in close coopera~tion with my US partner ***[RBTS, Inc.](http://www.rbts.com)***, which was acquired by ***Concepts NREC (US)*** in January 2024.
